Driven Athlete
As your true potential is unleashed, you begin to stop “participating” and sports and begin to “play” them. You are not just along for the ride when the game starts, but have the confidence and skills to dictate how the game is played. People are starting to take notice of your new found excellence and you feel like twice the athlete you were the first time you stepped on my “proving grounds”. It should be apparent that you made the right choice in continuing to evolve your game.
You have the drive to become one of those athletes that breaks the mold. Obviously you see the importance of sport performance training and you know what it takes to continue to Evolve your game. You have seen less “machines” and “cardio theaters” in recent weeks and more med balls, kettlebells, and sports fields. You look at opponents and pity them because they are still wasting time in the tomb of mediocrity, believing power is derived from a bench press and an eliptical machine. You, on the other hand, train every day, but do not remember what your health club looked like.
You have to continue to make that conscious effort to train day in and day out in a way that sets you apart from the rest. By continuing in my training progressions, you are not only continuing to become a better athlete, you are setting the habits required to make that evolutionary leap to transcendental sport greatness.
I applaud your drive to become better each day. You arrived at the crossroads, were driven enough to make the right choice, now the question that remains; are you willing to prove you have what it takes to fully Evolve your Game?
