April 2008 8-Week ATP Results

Most 8-week programs in the industry realize a decrease of .2 seconds off a 40 yard dash time (Industry standards are represented by the red line). The athletes above are our most significant increases, but our average across all 30 athletes was still better than .2 seconds. You can see the actual final time at the top of each column and the improvement in seconds on the vertical axis. It is interesting to note that we had two high school soccer players run 4.5 40 yard dashes at their post program assessments.

Industry standard for the Standing Broad Jump is a 6 inch increase. We had 13 of 16 High School soccer players improve by 6 inches or more, including 4 athletes with over 12 inch increases! They are listed above. While you can expect to see tremendous increases in raw athletes, to take a well-trained high school athlete and increase the broad jump from 6 feet 9 inches to 8 feet 3 inches is...well "evolving his game".

Industry standard for 5-10-5 time decrease is .2 seconds. We hovered around the standard with about half of our athletes, but you can see we had a handful of them with increases that shattered industry standards. What is interesting to note is that our fastest 5-10-5 (not listed above) was a 4.3 second run. The same kid that ran a 4.3 shuttle also ran the 40 in 4.5, jumped 26 inches on his vertical leap assessment, and posted an 8 foot broad jump.

All athletes want results...
When you buy a sports car you want to know how it performs from 0-60 in comparison to its peers. When you buy a stock you make sure to check the 5 and 10 year historicals versus the market. When you purchase a sport performance training program you want to know you will outperform as well. It is simple, you want results. We deliver those results in the best training program around.
The average decrease across 30 athletes in the 40 yard dash was nearly 4 tenths of a second. We had 6 athletes who decreased their 40 times by more than 5 tenths with one posting a 7 tenths decrease. The athlete did not just drop from a 8 second 40, he started with a 5.6 40 and ran a 4.9. As an evolved athlete, he just posted a strong enough time to get noticed and get that scholarship.
We posted an average increase in broad jump across 30 athletes of 8 inches. We started with only 2 athletes posting an 8 foot broad jump, but finished 8 weeks with 6 athletes posting broad jumps over 8 feet. One of those athletes was a 35 year old Lawyer (he may change careers now considering we shaved 3 tenths off his 40, added 4 inches to his vertical, and dropped his 5-10-5 to a 4.6).
Were you looking for results in power? Our athletes did not touch a weight during our 8-week program, but we were able to increase push up output by 90% and 30 second hurdle hops by 78%. We had a 9 year old add 20 push ups and 19 hurdle hops over 8 weeks, but we also had an adult over 30 add 16 push ups.
Our sample of athletes ranged from 9 years old to in the 40s both male and female. Regardless of age or gender, we got results. No, we evolved their game.
